Rare WW2 German officer’s map case in black pebbled leather. Inside front flap reveals clear stamp “Pol Hbg,” which translates to “Hamburg Polizei” (3- or 4-digit number blacked out). This was an elite police force. Same markings appear on firearms used by security police. Dimensions: 7" x 10". Supple & pliable leather bag and straps. No tears, no repairs, etc. Stitching intact. Exceptional condition.
