Rare German circa 1940 FROWO oil lantern. Produced by the German firm Frohlich & Wolter, Oesterle, Germany. Base is marked “Frowo Nr 50-made in Germany.” It is original, with unpainted patina. Includes original wick and authentic globe marked “Made in Germany.” Fuel cap bears Frowo flower logo. Dimensions: 19 cm x 12 cm (7 in x 5 in).
