Original WW2 Finnish Air Force Pilots Leather Lahti Pistol Holster. This was official holster designed for 1935 Lahti 7.65 x 21mm & 9 x 19mm caliber pistol. At outbreak of WW2, a famous pilot belonging to Flying Squadron 4 shot down four Russian aircraft in one afternoon. Afterwards, vintage photos show him wearing this particular holster. Our example features early brass fittings and compartment for cleaning rod. Cardboard placed inside compartment to retain shape. This holster was also used for Husquarna M-40 pistol. Just like these quality engineered pistols, this soft, pliable holster is still in great original condition, including hoops and stitching.
