Very Rare German WW2 Leather Medical Pouch for Elite Cavalry Troops. This Sanitatstasche is stamped with a large K. One reference states, "German Wehrmacht typically used unit/branch specific codes like "K" (for Kavallerie/ Cavalry)." Stamped "dny 1941." Manufactured by K.Bollmann, Tuttlingen--leading manufacturer of contract leather supplies issued by Wehrmacht. This leather pouch is fairly large, with 2 pockets for medical supplies for both rider and horse. Attaches directly to left side of saddle by 2 large top loops. Measures 11" x 7"x 3". Strong quality leather, and still in great shape. Very scarce item.
